Call for Entries: 2026 Member Show

A regional exhibition hosted by ArtForms NM seeks entries from members for its annual member show during For the Love of Art Month.

Show Location: The HOOD, 3206 Harrelson St., Las Cruces, NM, 88005

Entry Timeline 

Deadline is December 15, 2025.  

No late entries accepted.

​

Eligible Work

Original 2-D or 3-D work created within the last two years solely by the artist.

• Not previously displayed in the Mesilla Valley

• 2-D framed or gallery wrapped and ready to hang. No sawtooth hangers. 

• 3-D ready to display

• No scratches on frames unless it is part of the artistic aesthetic

Application Process

A $30 entry fee entitles artist to enter up to 3 pieces of work. The Member Show Committee will be curating based upon available space. We will do our best to accommodate all work submitted. Artists will be contacted if we cannot fit all pieces submitted.

Photos of artwork should be submitted with the application. If work is in progress please submit in-progress image. 

Upload instructions:

• Use the following file name convention:

  last name_title_medium_2026.jpg (EX: Smith_Stars_Oil_2026.jpg)

• Images must be 300 dpi. If your image is not, go to https://www.dpi-converter.com/, input your image, and convert it to 300 dpi before uploading.

• Images should be no larger than 1200 pixels on the longest side.

• Photos should be cropped to the edges of the art and must not include a frame or background.

Applicants consent to their artwork being used in promotional materials. Artists are responsible for dropping off and picking up work.

Exhibition Dates:

February 6 - February 28, 2026

Gallery Hours:  

Fridays 1pm - 7pm

Saturdays 12pm - 5pm

Sundays 12pm - 4pm

**ArtForms is providing volunteer staffing to assist with gallery hours. we ask that members consider volunteering a few hours.  

 

**On Feb 14, 2026, the gallery hours will be 12-4.  The gallery has a private event on Feb 13 & 14, 2026.

Awards 

Awards will be presented on Feb 19, 2026. More info TBD.

 

Gallery Sales & Commission

Artwork must be for sale; The HOOD will charge 30% commission and collect Gross Receipt Taxes. ​
