Call for Entries: 2027 Member Show

Eligibility: A regional exhibition hosted by ArtForms NM seeks entries from members for its annual member show during For the Love of Art Month.  Member dues must be up to date to participate.

Entry Fee: $30 for up to three entries. The Member Show Committee will be curating based upon available space. We will do our best to accommodate all work submitted. Artists will be contacted if we cannot fit all pieces submitted.

Show Location: The HOOD, 3206 Harrelson St., Las Cruces, NM, 88005

Entry Timeline 

Deadline is December 31, 2026.  

No late entries accepted.

Eligible Work

Original 2-D or 3-D work created within the last two years solely by the artist.

• Not previously displayed in previous ArtForms shows.

• 2-D framed or gallery wrapped and ready to hang. No sawtooth hangers. 

• 3-D ready to display 

• No scratches on frames unless it is part of the artistic aesthetic

• Place a small post it note on the back with title and your name for install.

Marketing: Photos of artwork should be submitted with the application. Applicants consent to their artwork being used in promotional materials. 

Upload instructions:

• Use the following file name convention:

  last name_title_2027.jpg (EX: Smith_Stars_2027.jpg)

• Images must be 300 dpi. If your image is not, go to https://www.dpi-converter.com/, input your image, and convert it to 300 dpi before uploading.

• Images should be no smaller  than 1200 pixels on the longest side.

• Photos should be cropped to the edges of the art and must not include a frame or background.

• **We will accept png files.

Gallery Hours Fri through Sunday 11am to 5pm

Feb 5, 2027, 4-8pm Opening Reception

Accepted work must be dropped off Feb 2, 2026 from 9-11am.

**ArtForms is providing volunteer staffing to assist with gallery hours. we ask that members consider volunteering a few hours.

Honorable Mention, $25

 

Gallery Sales & Commission

Artwork must be for sale; The HOOD will charge 30% commission. Artists are responsible for GRT on their 60%. and collect Gross Receipt Taxes. Sold work must remain in the show until Feb 28th.
